| When children and their families face the tragedy of violent crime, their lives can be changed forever. Their battle to fight through the grief and helplessness are compounded when they may face issues of simple life sustenance: Where will I sleep tonight? Who will take care of me? How can I get past this experience and succeed in school?
The mission of the Children’s Victory Project, Inc. ( the "CVP") is to level the playing field and give these children a better chance at success.
The CVP was created and will operate to provide assistance to New York City children and families with children who survive violent crimes, including children of homicide victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. We focus primarily on providing relief to those victims who are economically disadvantaged. Our goal is to ensure that no child is crippled by the violent circumstances that were beyond his control.
